Forest Fuel 2018
Permanent projection artwork at Sävenäsverket biomass plant in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Illustrating the link between industry and nature, 'Forest Fuel' highlights the building’s relationship with the landscape - communicating the role and importance of the forest in sustaining Gothenburg's energy needs. Wood chips left over from the forestry industry are used to generate heating for the city of Gothenburg, the ashes of which are eventually returned to the forest floor to provide essential nutrients for replanting and regrowth in a cycle of energy.
